Valmet will be at Ecomondo 2024 with the RAEE, Ecology, and Refining Divisions

Valmet will once again participate in Ecomondo, an international event dedicated to the green and circular economy sectors, bringing together industries, policymakers, opinion leaders, researchers, and institutions to integrate the key elements that define the strategies for the development of European environmental policy.

From November 5th to 8th, the Valmet RAEE, Valmet Ecology, and Valmet Refining divisions will be at Booth 102, Hall B3 of the Rimini Expo Centre, focusing on sustainable waste management and recycling.

This will be an important opportunity to showcase some of the key activities of the group to various stakeholders: from the purchase of electronic boards and the recovery of precious metals by Valmet RAEE, to waste disposal and ADR consulting by Valmet Ecology, and finally to the recovery and commercialization of precious metals from waste and processing scraps by Valmet Refining.

Don’t miss this appointment with innovation and sustainability.

We look forward to seeing you in Rimini at the Exhibition Center, Hall B3, Booth 102.

Disposal of Warehouse Goods: Operations and Legality. Request a Free Site Inspection

Valmet Ecology supports companies by giving value to their waste

Ecology offers an exclusive service for companies needing to dispose of raw materials and products stored in their warehouses.

Valmet Ecology carries out all management operations, both bureaucratic and organisational, on behalf of companies, by complying with the actions required by law regarding the destruction of the assets in question, ensuring compliance and protection for the customer. Devoted to providing advice for the proper management of corporate waste, it was born in response to legal and financial obligations that companies must adhere to in order to remain compliant and avoid heavy penalties.

Valmet Ecology provides concrete support to companies by offering them a free site inspection to assess the aspects of the operation in advance if the client decides to engage their services.

The reasons for choosing to dispose of stored materials can vary, such as expiration, non-usage, as well as obsolescence and deterioration. In all these cases, as the merchandise no longer serves a purpose and is not recoverable, it must be disposed of to free up valuable physical space for storing new materials. However, there are legal terms that govern the operation of destroying the goods that the company, voluntarily deciding to proceed in this direction, must comply with.

Thanks to expertise, organizational skills, and above all, knowledge of the current regulations and their updates, Valmet Ecology is the ideal partner for companies that, having assessed the value of the stored goods in their warehouse to be greater than 10,000 Euros – below this threshold, a self-declaration is sufficient, and not a notarial deed – wish to proceed with its disposal. This is a very important operation that, if managed according to the correct legal procedures and communicated in the appropriate manner to the relevant authorities, such as the Revenue Agency and the Financial Guard, not only ensures compliance in case of financial audits but also allows the company to recover economic value from the investment made in unused assets.

Disposing of goods stored in the warehouse involves a complex process, and failing to document it, for example, by disposing of it independently or concealing it without following the necessary steps, exposes the company to the presumption of tax evasion.
